Quick answers

Basic Questions

Use these answers to screen a file before contacting the funding desk.

How do I choose the right program?

Compare time in business, revenue, credit, requested amount, and use of funds. The matrix identifies the likely starting point; final fit depends on the complete file.

Are the amounts, rates, and terms guaranteed?

No. They are general screening guidelines. Final approval, amount, cost, payment, and term depend on the client's complete qualifications and final underwriting.

What documents should I prepare first?

Begin with the application and the documents listed in the last row of the matrix. Send clear, complete files; larger or more complex requests may require tax returns, financial statements, payoff information, or added verification.

Is credit score or revenue more important?

It depends on the program. Revenue-based funding focuses heavily on deposits and bank activity, while personal/startup, SBA, and line-of-credit programs generally require stronger credit. One strong item does not automatically replace another requirement.

How long does approval and funding take?

Timing varies by program and file quality. Some revenue-based and microfunding options can move quickly. Large funding, equipment, lines of credit, and SBA requests generally require more review and documents.

How can I submit a stronger file?

Send a complete, accurate, and organized package. Confirm that the application matches the bank statements and explain current loans, returned payments, unusual deposits, credit issues, or special circumstances upfront.
